I discovered recently that there is good clinical evidence for a benefit to liver health if you walk at least 7000 steps a day. I've only been doing about 5000 on weekdays. I'm trying to push that up. Fortunately the Flagstaff Urban Trail System (FUTS) is being expanded near my house. This will make things easier now that they've built houses all over the place on this side of town. It's also much safer for pedestrians and bicyclists.
