Clouds

I was pleased to see this lone cloud forming over the high country this morning on my bicycle ride.

Yesterday I could see clouds on the far eastern horizon. That was the North American Monsoon arriving, just a little to the east. New Mexico, Colorado, and West Texas got the rain. The flow of moisture is inching westward. We will have rain by the end of the week.

Later in the afternoon there was a substantial cloud layer northeast of town. I doubt there was any precipitation but it builds up like this at the beginning of the monsoon.

I went for a bicycle ride this morning. I put in some good times, according to the Strava app. I feel like I'm almost getting too old to set personal records without going somewhere new, but I guess I still have some capacity for achievement.

I stopped in to take a photo of a Habitat For Humanity project near my house. The governor was here the other day for a photo op. It's a good cause. Nobody invited me but I don't like her anyway.
