Gun License

Found this thing from 2011.

I will destroy this, it expired in 2016. Anyway I moved to Arizona in 2015. I just thought it was funny, even at the time, that Georgia issued such a primitive card license, though it does have my right index fingerprint and other details on the other side. It looks almost handmade. Lying around it's just another opportunity for identity theft.

Getting the permit itself was relatively easy, except for a minor adventure getting my fingerprints recorded at the county jail. The "lady" doing it was clearly used to dealing with criminals. I was extra polite but she still snapped at me and no response I gave was quick enough. She practically crushed my hands rubbing in Corn Huskers Lotion before scanning my prints. And let's just say she looked the part of a female corrections officer. At least I got a decent hand massage out of it. Funny memory.
