Cloud Deck

 

The mountains have scarcely emerged today.

The last two days have been rainy with plenty of thunder. We had a hailstorm earlier. It's welcome because June is usually dry, especially early June.

I know I keep talking about writing a second novel without ever finishing it but I think I found the way to full length. The plot has diverged away from my original intentions but it's promising and I've made progress. I have almost 30,000 words, not all of it is useful but we'll get there and fix whatever is wrong.

I'm already trying to think of new ideas for a third novel.
