Semi-homemade Cream of Chicken, Bean, and Rice Soup

Note the compostable spoon. I don't compost but it should degrade faster when it ends up in the landfill. In my experience they are still reusable and can be hand washed. I wouldn't put them in the dishwasher.

Another one of my experiments in convenience cooking. The only thing cooked from scratch is the rice

One can (15.5 ounce) Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup

Half can of cannellini beans (about 6 or 7 ounces)

About 3 ounces of steamed rice

I toasted the rice in a large batch the night before with olive oil, then steamed it in water.

I made the soup with a half can of water and half of whole milk.

I rinsed the beans with tap water.

Then I just added the ingredients to the soup and simmered it until steaming.
